The Terrapin Foundation and Strangers Helping Strangers will hold a non-perishable food drive at this year’s Gathering of the Vibes, which kicks off today in Mariaville, NY. All items will be donated to the Schenectady Innery City Ministries food program. Several incentive packages will be awarded to fans that make donations, including tickets to the Bridgeport Blues Festival (August 30 – 31), the Summit on the Sound (September 13 – 14), T-shirts, CDs and other various band merchandise.
Music begins on the main stage tonight at 6 p.m. The festival runs through Sunday. For full details, visit www.gatheringofthevibes.com.
