Addison Groove Project bassist John Hall has been diagnosed with cancer and is taking a hiatus from performing. He begins chemotherapy today, which will lead to surgery, presumably this fall. With Johns full support, the band will continue touring as a quintet, with keyboardist Rob Marscher providing left-handed bass lines. As John prepares for the difficult road ahead, he will most definitely remain in our hearts and in our prayers, the group said in a statememnt. All those who wish to join us in our support are welcome to send cards to: John Hall, 24 Princeton Rd, Wellesley, MA, 02482.’
