While news emerged today regarding the cancellation of Lollapalooza (look for detailed coverage at Relix.com), artists have been announced for the fifth annual Evolve festival which will take place in Antigonish, Nova Scotia on August 27-29. As befits its anniversary this years festival will feature five stage of music from djs and band including Spearhead, Drums & Tuba, The Rheostatics, Vorcza Trio, Nero, Doc Martin, Rennie Pilgrem and many, many others. Evolve pledges to present music around the clock and also remaining eco-friendly as all festival generators will be running on biodiesel fuel.
