Bruce Hornsby will celebrate the release of his newest studio document, Halcyon Days, by playing a series of intimate New York City concerts. The piano-man will use each show to accent a different element of his sound, which over the years has ranged from slick-pop to psychedelic-jazz. On October 26, Hornsby will host two guest-laced jam sessions at The Blue Note, kicking off at 8 and 10:30PM respectively. After a day break, Hornsby will return to the stage on October 28 for a solo set at Carnegie Halls new Zankel Hall, offering stripped down arrangements of his compositions. Hornsby will conclude his three-night run on October 29 with a full band set at Times Squares Town Hall.
