Blues Traveler and Spearhead will share the stage at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre on October 2 as part of Rescue at the Rocks. The single-day event will benefit the Denver Rescue Mission, an organization dedicated to housing, clothing and educating the homeless.
Blues Traveler has celebrated July 4 at Red Rocks each summer since 1993 (except 99). Over the years, the quintet has shared its Red Rocks bill with the likes of the Allman Brothers, Widespread Panic and Leftover Salmon, as well as the traveling H.O.R.D.E Festival which rolled into town on July 2 and 3, 1992. Blues Travelers last non-July Morrison date took place way back in September 1991. The group is currently touring in support of Live on the Rocks, recorded at Red Rocks on July 4, 2003.
