Following the departure of Houseman, the Galactic Goes Instrumental Tour will hit the road for a month, from October 12 through November 12. Galactic, which is currently on the west coast through September 11, will have singers joining in for a number of these dates on the current tour, most notably MOFRO’s JJ Grey from September 2-6. The band is then off for a month until it returns to the road for 24 shows sans vocalist, including two nights apiece at New York’s Irving Plaza (10/23 & 24) and Washington’s 9:30 Club (11/6 & 7) as well as a Halloween performance at Stubb’s in Austin.
