Longtime live collaborators Peter Rowan and Tony Rice will release their first full-fledged recorded collaboration, You Were There For Me, on September 28. The Rounder Records release will also feature several noted guests, including Billy Bright, Bryn Bright, Tony Garnier (Bob Dylan), Larry Atamanuik (Alison Krauss + Union Station) and vocalist Robert Emery.
A production collaboration as well as a duel musical offering, You Were There For Me was produced and arranged by Peter Rowan and co-produced by
Tony Rice.
Rowan, Rice and the Brights will tour in support of You Were There For Me, kicking off on September 12 in Carrboro, NC. The quartet will also make stops across the country, with dates scheduled into early December.
