The inaugural No Ka Oi music festival will take place at Hawaii’s Waimanalo Polo Ranch this December 18 and 19. Performers scheduled to make the trip to Oahu include Keller Williams, Derek Trucks Band, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Soulive, Particle, Deep Banana Blackout and Dirty Dozen Brass Band. All in all, more than twenty acts are promised, and given the weather and surroundings one has to believe that many will be quite willing to make the trip (relevant bonus fun fact: No Ka Oi translates as number 1 or the best).
