Back in August Corrosion of Conformity traveled to New Orleans to record with Stanton Moore. The resulting disc tentatively titled En los Brazos del Dios (In the Arms of God) is in queue for an early 2005 release. The collaboration came about through a friendship between COC vocalist/guitarist Pepper Keenan and Moore. When Keenan had asked Galactic co-founder if he could recommend a drummer do their sessions, Moore suggest himself and leapt into the fray for the effort which will be produced by John Custer. There is no word yet on possible tour plans. Galactic is off until an appearance at the Warren Haynes Christmas Jam on December 18, followed by a New Years Eve show at Tipitinas.
