Drew Emmitt will open up a stretch of Colorado shows tonight at the Abbey Theatre in Durango. Emmitt’s band should be in form as it just returned from recording sessions in Nashville working towards a tentative June release of Emmitt’s next disc. In the interim the group has added additional shows from late March through early April, as it will tour from the Midwest out to the west coast, where Emmitt eventually will appear on stage for three shows with String Cheese Incident (April 5, 6 and 7- Emmitt’s band will not join him for these shows, instead he will perform over the course of each evening with SCI).
