As is tradition, Blues Traveler celebrated Fourth of July at Morrison, COs Red Rocks Amphitheater. By all accounts the group has emerged from its recent recording sessions retooled and rededicated to its jam-oriented roots. As has also become custom, Blues Traveler invited some friends onstage during its two-set performance. A few songs into the groups first set, Austin-based trio the Grooveline Horns emerged during Love of My Life, later returning for a hefty-portion of the groups second set. The horn section is featured on Blues Travelers next studio album, Bastardos!, scheduled to hit stores his September. The group plays tonight at Park, City, UTs Suede.
