The Dave Matthews Band will continue to dip into its archives for the fourth installment in its Live Trax series. 4.30.96 Classic Amphitheatre, Richmond, VA documents the start of the groups support tour for the Crash album. This date also marks the debut of the groups new sound system, inherited from the Grateful Dead following its breakup. In addition to several jam sections, this show was chosen for release by the bands crew because one can still hear the raw energy that the live show was known for, but can also start to hear the polish of a veteran band that is completely comfortable in their surroundings.
