Following their performance at New York’s Bowery Ballroom last night, drummer Joe Russo and keyboardist Marco Benevento debuted a new ‘side-project’ known as Come on Falcon at the intimate east village bar Scenic. Dressed in nothing but club shirts and boxer shorts, the paired performers ran through a series of tongue-in-cheek rock-covers-with Russo playing acoustic guitar and Benevento plucking an upright bass. Kicking off just after 2:30 AM, Come of Falcon’s stealth performance also found the Duo trying their luck as vocalists (a cover of Bon Jovi’s ‘Living on a Prayer’ was particularly heartfelt).
