For instance, the North Mississippi Allstars Electric Blue Watermelon was nominated for Best Contemporary Blues Album. The Best Pop Instrumental Performance category includes Herbie Hancock Featuring Trey Anastasio for Gelo Na Montanha (Hancock also received a Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals nod for ‘A Song For You’ with Christina Aguilera). Bob Dylans No Direction Home: The Soundtrack – Bootleg Series, Vol. 7 is up for Best Compilation Soundtrack Album For Motion Picture, Television Or Other Visual Media while Sean Penns reading of Dylans Chronicles – Volume One is a Best Spoken Word Album nominee. Meanwhile, Stewart Copeland who appears in the story below (and appeared on stage with the 70 Volt Parade last evening) is nominated for Best Rock Instrumental Performance with Birds Of Prey. Frequent Relix contributor Danny Clinch and producer Lindha Narvaez also received a nomination in the Best Long Form Music Video category for Bruce Springsteen’s Devils & Dust.
