While Trey Anastasio gears up 2006, keyboardist Ray Paczkowski will hit the road with his trio, Vorcza. On February 9, the former New Groove of the Month will kickoff an east coast tour in its native Vermont at Johnson State College. From there the organ-led combo will breeze through Canton, Albany, Syracuse, Ithaca, Utica, Boston, Worcester, MA and Manchester, CT before closing out its brief run at Francestown NHs Old Meeting House on February 25. Late last year, Vorcza released its first studio album, Corner of the Morning, which features an appearance by Anastasio himself on select tracks. Tomorrow, Vorcza will also preview its upcoming tour with a one-off appearance at Burlingtons Red Square.
