Les Claypool’s directorial debut Electric Apricot: Quest For Festeroo will debut next month at the Tiburon Film Festival in Tiburon CA. A mockumentary in the Spinal Tap vein, the film tracks the members of the band Electric Apricot as they navigate the jam scene, making their first record and their debut appearance at the one and only Festeroo. Claypool appears as drummer Lapland Lapdog Miclovich and is joined by Bob Weir, Mike Gordon, Warren Haynes, Matt Abts, Seth Green and Matt Stone. The film will appear at the Tiburon Film Festival on March 15th and later will screen at the Portland Lonbaugh Film Festival on April 6th.
