On Friday, Addison Groove Project celebrated St. Patricks Day with a homecoming performance at Bostons Paradise. During the groups first set, keyboardist Rob Marschers father, Alan, joined AGP onstage, supplying vocals and guitar on a cover of House of the Rising Sun. Next, during AGPs setbreak, didgeridoo master Jonah Moreale offered a short, improvisational segment featuring former Uncle Sammy bassist Brian O’Connell on his trademark war guitar. Moreales jam segued back into AGPs second-set for Icarus, with O’Connell switching to bass. AGP also debuted a handful of new covers during its performance including John Williams Ganymede / Imperial March, (from the Empire Strikes Back) and a instrumental reworking of U2s New Years Day. AGP will return to the road for a performance at Saratoga Springs Skidmore College on March 31.
