Talking Heads’ multi-instrumentalist Jerry Harrison will join Gay Lucas’ Gods and Monsters for a series of international performances this April. Harrison will preview his collaboration with the downtown jazz-giants April 7 at the Bowery Poetry Club before traveling to Russia a run of shows beginning at Saint Petersburg’s Platforma Club on April12. In addition to Lucas, Gods and Monsters features a number of seminal musicians including bassist Ernie Brooks (Modern Lovers), drummer Billy Ficca (Television) on and saxophonist Jason Candler (Hungry March Band). Before joining the Talking Heads, Harrison performed in the Modern Lovers for several years with Brooks.
