The Wood Brothers, Iris Dement, Kelly Joe Phelps, Greg Brown and Darol Anger are among the artists scheduled to perform at the 8th Annual Pickathon Music Festival.
The Pickaton Music Festival will dip its toes into all sorts of roots sounds, boasting a lineup which mixes folk, bluegrass, old-time, zydeco, blues, country, swing and Americana,. The festival will take place on August 4 and 5 at Pendarvis Farm just outside Portland, OR, offering a camping option which boasts views of scenic Mt. Hood. Other performers include CJ Chenier and the Red Hot Louisiana Band, The Avett Brothers, Martha Scanlan, Danny Barnes Collective, The Wailin’ Jennys, Kris Delmhorst, The Wilders, The Everybodyfields, The Earl Brothers, Stairwell Sisters, Juanita Family Band, Asleigh Flynn, Trash Can Joe, The Packway Handle Band, and yes, the World Famous Friday Night Square Dance.
