For its Halloween gag Particle celebrated the history of funk by looking ahead to 2070 for the genres 100 proposed anniversary. The group opened its set at Lawrence, KS Granada Theatre with a version of Also Sprach Zarathustra and proceeded to offer a number of funk chestnuts throughout the night. During its performance, Particle debuted covers of Isley Brothers Fight The Power and Maceo Parkers Shake Everything You Got. Tour Manager Jamie Minotti later MC’d a contest for the Space Porn God/Goddess of 2070 and the group closed out its set with a appropriate cover of Stevie Wonders Superstition.
