Guitarist Sean Leahy and vocalist Kiyoshi Foster are in the midst of a Wednesday night residency at Giordano Bros, a North Beach sandwich shop. Joining the pair at the tiny San Francisco venue this past week were a number of area artists including Tea Leaf Greens Josh Clark and Trevor Garrod, ALOs Dan Leibowitz, In-Rare-Form drummer Steve Strehler, Turkish percussionist Nedj Ulu, guitarist Andrew Freeman and singer/songwriter Justine Bennett. Music started at 8 and extended nearly five hours, with most of the artists performing some of their own material and everyone chipping in for extended versions of such songs as Tom Thumbs Blues, Im Waiting for the Man and Foxy Lady.
