The latest festival to confirm its lineup is Louisville, KYs Forecastle Festival. Like many summer events, the multi-band gathering will veer towards the eclectic, with De La Soul, Girl Talk, Particle, Early Day Miners, Parlour, Chicago Afrobeat Project, Wax Fang, Aloha, the Impossible Shapes, the Features, De Novo Dahl and Cheer Accident among the acts scheduled to appear. In total, the event will present more than 25 artists and nearly 50 environmental organizations from July 27-28.
