Before Galactic hits the road for an extended fall tour, bassist/group co-founder Robert Mercurio will play a pair of shows at New Orleans Balcony Bar in the Marigny. On September 27 the bassist will play the space with keyboardist Robert Walter and drummer Eric Bolivar and then, on September 28, he will play the venue with his Good Enough 4 Good Times band. As previously reported, the Good Enough 4 Good Times band also features Galactic guitarist Jeff Raines, keyboardist Joe Ashlar and drummer Dylan Hicks. Mercurio and Galactic drummer Stanton Moore have also recorded an album, Surfin’ the Swamp, with San Francisco guitarist Jimmy Leslie. The disc is available now in the Bay Area and through the guitarists website.
