Phil Lesh & Friends have partnered with the Conscious Alliance to host food drives during the bassists upcoming shows in Colorado and New Mexico. As previously reported, Lesh will perform at Denvers Fillmore Auditorium tomorrow, Morrison, COs
Red Rocks Amphitheatre Saturday and Santa Fe, NMs Paolo Soleri Amphitheatre Sunday. All foods collected will go to benefit Denvers Metro CareRing Family Assistance Center and Native American Reservations in the greater Santa Fe, NM area. All patrons who donate 10 non-perishable food items will receive a limited edition Phil Lesh & Friends poster by famed rock artist, Richard Biffle. Both posters will be available at all three shows for a donation of 20 food items and Biffles Denver and Santa Fe posters will together form a 2-Panel work of art. Donation bins will be located outside of the main entrance to each venue, where a volunteers will exchange food items for poster vouchers that can be redeemed any time during or after the concert at the Conscious Alliance Art that Feeds booth inside the venue. Conscious Alliance also wishes to remind patrons that organic food donations are especially encouraged, though Ramen Noodles can no longer be accepted in exchange for the free poster.
