As we’ve previously reported, the Emmitt Nershi Band is set to debut at this year’s MagnoliaFest, which will take place from October 26-28 in Live Oak, Florida. From there the group will keep the momentum going with a string of Colorado dates that will then lead into a Midwest tour. The quartet will be in Boulder on Halloween for a show at the Boulder Theater, followed by gigs in Aspen, Denver and onward. In addition to Drew Emmitt and Bill Nershi, the group also will consist of banjo player Chris Pandolfi (The Stringdusters) and Tyler Grant (who plays acoustic guitar in the Drew Emmitt Band but will switch to bass for this setting).
