Future Rock and Orchard Lounge played a rare winter Rocks Off Cruise aboard the traveling Temptress on Saturday. Orchard Lounge performed first and offered a seamless segue into Future Rocks headlining set. Much of the groups performance consisted of covers, including a Daft Punk medley which nodded to Robot Rock, Prime Time of Your Life and Da Funk
After offering a version of MSTRKRFT’s Easy Love, the trio brought out hometown hero Matisyahu for an impromptu collaboration on their own Rock Kit. Finally, Future Rock encored with instrumental versions of
Arcade Fire’s Rebellion (Lies) and Aphex Twin’s Milkman. Future Rock will celebrate New Years Eve at Chicagos Kinetic Playground with Orchard Lounge once again supplying support duties.
