George Porter Jr. and Brian Stoltz, who with Russell Batiste in PBS throughout November, will draw together two additional players for a few shows in December. Junco Pardners will feature Porter and Stoltz alongside Papa Grows Funk’s John Gros and Bonerama’s Mark Mullin. The group will appear at Mexicali Blues Cafe in Teaneck, NJ on December 14 and at Baltimore’s 8 × 10 on December 15. PBS will then regroup for a number of shows in late December, including Porter’s 60th Birthday celebration at the Howlin’ Wolf in New Orleans on December 26 and a New Year’s Eve return to the venue five days later.
