Jambands.coms sister publication Relix Magazine will partner with Madison House Inc. to host an official showcase at Austins influential SXSW music conference. The party will take place at Club 115 on March 13, two weeks from today, at 8 PM. The showcase will feature an eclectic mix of musicians featured in the pages of Relix, as well as a variety of Madison House clients, including current New Groove of the Month The Heavy Pets (8 PM), Born in the Flood (9 PM), Underground Orchestra (10 PM), New Monsoon (11 PM), Haale (12 AM) and DJ Rekha (1 AM). A number of popular artists have played Relix SXSW showcases over the years, including the John Popper Project, Jonah Smith, The Benevento-Russo Duo, The Whigs and the Brakes, among others.
