As previously reported, “moe.s Al Schnier and Vinnie Amico”: will open a run of Al and The Transamericans shows at Uticas Electric Company on Halloween. Before then, however, Amico will revisit the music of the Grateful Dead with his longtime band Sonic Garden. The drummer originally co-founded Sonic Garden as a tribute to the Grateful Dead with some friends in 1988 and has revisited the Buffalo, NY-bred project on occasion over the years.
Sonic Gardens next run of shows will take place at various clubs throughout New York, including Uticas Electric Company (10/10), Albanys Valentine’s (10/11) and Williamsville, NYs Club Infinity (10/17). The latter gig is actually a special reunion shows featuring all the original members of Sonic Garden. moe. will remain off the road for the rest of 2008.
