On November 7, Marco Benevento will open his Trio tour with Jon Fishman and Reed Mathis. This weekend, however, he will perform two gigs that likely will offer some funkier flavors. Benevento will appear in New Orleans at the Blue Nile with Eric Krasno, Kirk Joseph and Adam Deitch. Big Sams Funky Nation will open tonight’s show while the Lee Boys will open on Saturday. One can expect some sit-ins from the openers, with ‘special guests’ promised as well.
