Although the Disco Biscuits scaled back their touring in 2008, the group looks to charge back into things in 2009. While fans anticipate the group’s long awaited new studio disc, the band will take to the road for four weeks, starting in mid-January. Following the Biscuits’ five night Nokia Theatre run that will close out the year, the quartet will open its winter tour on January 16 for the first of two nights at the Calvin Theatre in Northampton, MA. From there the band will travel to the Midwest and then down to the Southwest, routing through Colorado for shows at Denver’s Ogden Theatre on February 13 and 14, closing out this leg of its tour on February 15 in Lawrence, KS at Liberty Hall. The group will then pick things up a couple weeks later with a two night stand at Burlington’s Higher Ground on February 26 and 27. Next up for the group is Caribbean Holidaze in Runaway Bay, Jamaica, which will take place from December 12-14.
