Last year marked the debut of the Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival, which took place in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park. It appears that the event will continue for some time to come as not only will Outside Lands be back in August but the festival has announced a five-year agreement with San Francisco’s Recreation and Park Department and the City of San Francisco, whereby proceeds from every ticket sold will directly benefit San Francisco’s Recreation and Park Department. Outside Lands 2009 is confirmed for August 28 – 30, with details regarding the artist line-up to follow in the coming weeks.
