The Allman Brothers Band closed its two-night run Allman Brothers Band closed its two-night run at the Los Angeles Greek Theatre last night with another guest-laden performance. The first night the groups run featured appearances by Bruce Willis, Tom Petty and members of the Heartbreakers, and last nights show saw Ziggy Marley take the stage for a cover of his fathers I Shot the Sheriff. Susan Tedeschi also sang with the group, while the Max Weinberg 7 horns appeared on both The Same Thing and Soulshine. The Max Weinberg 7 recently relocated to Los Angeles to become the house band for The Tonight Show with Conan O Brien. The new program will premiere on June 1 with musical guest Pearl Jam, while Allman Brothers Band will appear at Valley Center, CAs Harrah’s Rincon this Friday.
