Following the success of their April run, which included a pair of sold-out post-Phish Sphere shows, Circles Around the Sun have announced their intent to return to Sin City on July 6. The band shared plans to play at the Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas, where they will put on another after-show, only this time following Dead & Company’s Saturday night stint at the state-of-the-art venue amidst their impending 24-concert residency.

Touching on the forthcoming appearance and Circles Around the Sun’s unique Dead tie–having written and performed material between sets at the Grateful Dead’s Fare Thee Well concerts–keyboardist Adam MacDougall offered, “Can’t wait to play the post Dead & Co — those are our original people. It’ll be a throwback to 2015 when it all got started for us; Neal [Casal] getting the call from Justin [Kreutzmann] to make six hours of original jams. Fun!”

Prior to the band’s Vegas return, they will launch their co-headlining tour with Grateful Shred.  The first leg of the joint run is slated to begin on May 10 in Austin, Texas, with a program structured as seamless, interwoven music from both bands with “no breaks” in between.

Tickets for Circles Around the Sun’s Dead & Company after-show are on sale now.
