The spirit of Phil Lesh’s Terrapin Crossroads, the Grateful Dead bassist’s former San Rafael, Calif. live music venue, bar, and restaurant, lives on and in concert form after Terrapin Roadshow announced a series of California shows slated for late spring/summer.
Initial live performances will occur at Monte Rio Amphitheater, outside Santa Rosa, Calif., on Saturday, May 31, and Sunday, June 1. With time away from the live stage, Terrapin Roadshow will turn up in San Rafael, Calif., where they will perform at Forest Meadows Amphitheatre over three nights, July 18-20.
“We’ve searched the Bay Area and beyond to find the most intimate, magical, and majestic outdoor amphitheaters around. The music at the Roadshows will be firmly rooted in the songbook and style of Grateful Dead, while also leaving plenty of room to explore. Expect to hear your favorite songs from the ’60s through to today, played by world class musicians in amazing venues,” Terrapin Roadshow extended via social media, tagging Grahame Lesh and the event sponsor.
According to the group’s social post, they’ll close out summer dates by offering one final Golden State gig on Saturday, August 17, at Truckee Amphitheater in scenic Truckee, Calif. See Terrapin Roadshow’s social post below.
More information will be posted prior to the initial event. For the latest information, visit terrapincrossroads.net.
Early Bird tickets go on sale next Tuesday, January 14.
