Renowned San Francisco-based pianist and composer Holly Bowling has shared she’ll be setting out on a solo tour this fall. The trek will see her traverse the East Coast, stretching from Virginia to Massachusetts.
The run will kick off just one month following Bowling’s recently announced Halloween show with Greensky Bluegrass and Tea Leaf Green with a show at the 5 Points Music Sanctuary in Roanoke, Va., with support from John Kadlecik (Nov. 29). From there, Bowling will head to Vienna, Va., for a performance at The Barns at Wolf Trap (Nov. 30) before heading to Philadelphia for a set at City Winery Philadelphia (Dec. 1). Next, she’ll head towards The Empire State for a performance at New York City’s Drom (Dec. 2) then Mamaroneck, N.Y.’s Emelin Theatre (Dec. 3). She’ll wrap the run with a performance at the City Winery Boston( Dec. 4).
It’s notable that after a full summer of performances with her band Ghost Light and solo sets at Newport Jazz Festival, Sacred Rose, Northwest String Summit, Dark Star Jubilee, Lightning Bug Festival, and more, Bowling will close out the summer this weekend by joining Greensky Bluegrass at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colo. on Sept. 16 and 17.
Tickets for Holly Bowling’s fall tour go on sale tomorrow, Wednesday, Sept. 14, local time. Find tickets and learn more here.
