Last Night, Circles Around the Sun performed at Infinity Hall in Norfolk, Conn. The ensemble was joined by Mikaela Davis– who is currently opening for the band on their spring tour– during their encore.

The Los Angeles natives’ cross-country trek began on March 16 at The Sinclair in Cambridge, Mass.; last night was the second stop of their spring 2022 tour. The Norfolk show included a performance of the band’s new single, “Language,” featuring Davis and her harp.

“Language” is expected to be included on Circles Around the Sun’s forthcoming studio album. The single was released last week by Royal Potato Family record label. The track features Davis’ signature mystic strums paired with the band’s funky tempo.

The tour continues tonight at XL Live in Harrisburg, Pa., followed by a gig at Beachland Ballroom in Cleveland on March 19. The current tour marks the band’s first with new guitarist John Lee Shannon, who permanently replaced founding member Neal Casal, who passed away in 2019.
