After a four-year hiatus, indie synth-rock band Jimkata have announced a North American comeback tour in support of their 2021 LP Bonfires.

The 8-date tour is slated to begin on Jan. 26 at Schmiggity’s in Steamboat Springs, Colo., followed by stops in Boulder, Denver, Los Angeles and San Diego. Jimkata will make their debut performance at Gem and Jam Festival 2022 in Tucson, Ariz., Feb. 4 through 6.

Bonfires is a bracingly original collection of dance floor-ready records that simultaneously feel modern yet classic, blurring the lines between the organic and the electronic as they reckon with doubt, struggle, and perseverance in a search for truth and meaning.” The band shared in a press release to set the tone for their upcoming tour.
