On Sept. 26, Dave Matthews couldn’t help but jump onstage with Black Pumas for a cover of Crazy Horse’s “Dirty Dirty” at Tennessee’s Pilgrimage Festival.

At first, Matthews was spotted by fans enjoying the Black Pumas set sidestage, and soon enough he was grooving front-and-center with the rising soul-rock outfit.

“Thanks so much to @davematthewsband for getting ‘Dirty Dirty’ with us at @pilgrimagefestival last weekend!” Black Pumas wrote via Instagram.
