Pop titan Taylor Swift’s followed up her acclaimed folklore LP on Dec. 11, with a surprise “sister album” dubbed evermore.
“To put it plainly, we just couldn’t stop writing songs,” Swift said via social media. “To try and put it more poetically, it feels like we were standing on the edge of the folklorian woods and had a choice: to turn and go back or to travel further into the forest of this music. We chose to wander deeper in.”
The list of collaborators on evermore is similar to its predecessor, including indie favorites like The National, Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon, HAIM, Jack Antonoff and Marcus Mumford.
