On Feb. 25, Several artists paid tribute to Fleetwood Mac guitarist and blues legend Peter Green at the London Palladium. The one-night concert was organized by Mick Fleetwood, co-founder of Fleetwood Mac.
The show began with “Rollin’ Man,” from Fleetwood Mac’s sophomore album Mr. Wonderful. Over a dozen influential artists such as Pete Townshend, Billy Gibbons, Steven Tyler, David Gilmour, Bill Wyman and Noel Gallagher contributed to the evening. Metallica’s Kirk Hammett also sat in on a few songs, including “The Green Manalishi.”
Jeremy Spencer, one of the original members of Fleetwood Mac who quit the band in 1971, appeared on “The Sky Is Crying.” The evening concluded collaboratively with “Shake Your Moneymaker,” which featured all of the performers.
