On Monday night, Bob Weir, Dumpstaphunk and Jerry Harrison of Talking Heads co-headlined “Get Down to Earth” a benefit for the Green Schools Alliance.
The event – billed as both “Get Down to Earth” and “The Champions of Change Gala” – took place at San Francisco’s Great American Music Hall, and honorees included Weir as well as Bill McGlashan, the “Founder and Managing Partner of TPG Growth and Co-Founder and CEO of The Rise Fund.”
According to their official website, the Green Schools Alliance is an environmentalist group working to “nurture and fortify sustainable school communities.”
