Gov’t Mule continued their European tour at the O2 Ritz in Manchester, UK, last night, and the band rounded out the performance with a tribute to the late legend Fats Domino, who passed away earlier this week at the age of 89.
Mule filled their two-set offering with live staples and tracks from their newest album, along with covers like “Mountain Jam” and Jimi Hendrix’s “If 6 Was 9,” plus a nod to another recently passed icon with Tom Petty’s “Breakdown” coming in the middle of “Beautifully Broken.” The band then closed out the evening with a tribute rendition of one of Fats Domino’s biggest songs, “Ain’t That A Shame,” the debut for the group.
See the full setlist below as it appears in our Box Scores section. Gov’t Mule keep their European dates rolling tonight with a show at the Tramshed in Cardiff, UK.
