This evening, Great American Taxi will bring its new line-up to Boulder. Vince Herman and Chad Staehly remain at the core of the quintet. They are now joined by Santa Cruz native Jim Lewin on electric guitar as well as two Boulder-area players: Chris Sheldon (drums) and Brian Adams (bass), both of whom gigged with Phix. This evening’s gig at the Boulder Theater will celebrate Boulder Beer’s 30th Anniversary with Oakhurst opening the night. Looking ahead, GAT will tour both coasts through October and mid-November with the complete itinerary to follow soon.
