Mike Gordon and his solo band performed at Cincinnati, OH’s 20th Century Theatre this past Monday. Near the end of Gordon’s set, noted Cincinnati trumpet player Mike “MadDog” Mavridoglou took the stage for “Jaded” and “Who By Fire.” Mavridoglou first befriended Gordon while playing with Jazz Mandolin Project. He has also collaborated with Umphrey’s McGee several times over the years. Gordon will perform at Pittsburgh, PA’s Mr. Small’s Theater this evening.
