Gov’t Mule’s Island Exodus to Jamaica will begin a week from today. The group has announced that Ron Holloway will perform with the band on saxophone throughout the long weekend, which culminates on Martin Luther King Day, January 18. In addition to previously announced performances by the Mule, Warren Haynes, Grace Potter & The Nocturnals and DJ Logic, a number of additional activities are on the bill as well. Matt Abts will host a Drum Clinic, Danny Louis will lead a golf outing and the group’s guitar tech Brian “I’m Not Him” Farmer will host “True Road Stories” on Sunday followed by a delightful game of “Farmer Says” on Monday. The complete schedule can be found at the Gov’t Mule site.
