Recent Grammy winner Zac Brown Band and R & B star John Legend will headline the first annual Hangout Beach, Music and Arts Festival. Billed as the first ever large-scale music festival on the beach, the multi-band event will take place in Gulf Shores, AL from May 14-16. Like many modern festivals, the event will feature a mix of jambands, indie rock acts and roots-oriented performers, including Allison Krauss and Union Station featuring Jerry Douglas, the Black Crowes, Gov’t Mule, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Blind Boys of Alabama, Matisyahu, Girl Talk, Guster, Brett Dennen, Keller Williams, Jeff Walker, ALO, The Whigs, Ozomatli, OK GO, Toubab Krewe, Pnuma Trio and AA Bondy, among others. In total, the event will feature over 60 bands on four stages.
