Last night, Mike Gordon and his band performed at Baltimore, MD’s Ram’s Head Live. The show opened with a unique improv jam that featured drummer Todd Isler on frame drum and percussionist Craig Myers moving over to N’goni. The evening’s opening act, banjo player Danny Barnes, sat in with the band as well for a couple of songs, including “I’m Deranged,” “Walls of Time” and “I’m Deranged.” Some more theatrics ensued during the segment as Gordon, Barnes and guitarist Scott Murawski traded places. Gordon will perform at Charlottesville, VA’s Jefferson Theatre tomorrow.
