Sonoma International Film Festival will kick off on April 15 with the debut of the documentary Coals to Newcastle: The New Mastersounds From Leeds to New Orleans. The film, which follows the British funk band’s travels, is the first documentary to ever open the international festival. The New Mastersounds will perform a show at the nearby Little Switzerland on April 15 to coincide with the film’s world debut. The band’s tour will officially open at Asheville, NC’s Asheville Earth Day on April 15.
