Between September 2000 and December 2003 Phil Lesh toured steadily with Warren Haynes, Jimmy Herring, Rob Barraco and John Molo. This version of Phil Lesh & Friends also entered the studio to record 2002’s There and Back Again. On December 21, 2001 the quintet appeared at Warren Haynes’ 13th Annual Christmas Jam. The setlist that night included “Night of A Thousand Stars,” written by Lesh, Haynes and Robert Hunter. That song, which is one of the tracks that appears on the new double disc, Warren Haynes Presents The Benefit Concert Vol. 3, is now streaming over at Relix.com.
